Pride in the Workplace with Matthew Kiesow

A virtual event that takes place during Adult Hang Out Hours.

Looking for a job can be tough—and even tougher when you’re queer and/or neurodivergent. This virtual workshop is here to make the process feel a little less overwhelming and a lot more empowering. Join Matthew Kiesow, a queer hiring professional and passionate community volunteer, for a session full of practical tools, lived experience, and affirming advice. You’ll learn how to:

  • Write a resume that reflects your strengths

  • Prepare for interviews with confidence

  • Spot and avoid job scams

  • Navigate “preferred qualifications” and other gatekeeping language

  • Understand workplace transitions for transgender folks

  • Build a job hunt strategy that fits your needs
